Tint It/ Summer Makeup
Summer weather is harsh on your skin and especially on your makeup. No one feels like pancaking it up in 98 degree weather! If you want a little coverage and some color with out worrying about makeup meltdown try tinted makeup.
For your flawless foundation start off with a mineral makeup and mix it with your favorite moisturizer with sunscreen. I recommend Bare Minerals. This will create a tinted moisturizer. Add more mineral makeup than lotion for more coverage.
Want a little color to your face and lips? Try Bene Tint by Benefit cosmetics. Its a liquid color stain. Apply 3 drops to each cheek and rub in a circular fluid motion. This will give you the appearance of a healthy flush. You might want to try this on skin without foundation first. If you want it darker afterward, apply again.
For lips you can paint the stain on with the brush attached to the cap. Again, you can keep adding color for more pigment. A plus for me is this product smells like rose water.
The last step is eyes! I have light brown eyelashes. Mascara always brightens and opens your eyes. I found a lash stain by Tarte. The stain goes on like a mascara but is light and clump free. It will last for four days! I'm on day number two and after a couple showers my lashes are still beautiful and maintenance free.
You can also use this product on light eyebrows. Lightly brush your eyebrows with the stain in an upward motion until you get your desired coverage. Then smooth out with a brow brush and clean, shape brows with a moist q-tip.
